Managing Trustee, Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation (SSCF)

Dr. B. S. Srinath is a renowned Surgical Oncologist, visionary healthcare leader, and humanitarian with over five decades of pioneering service in cancer care. A postgraduate from PGIMER Chandigarh and Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Glasgow, he returned to India in 1983 with a mission to make high-quality cancer care accessible and affordable.

As Founder and Head of SSCHRC, Bengaluru, and Managing Trustee of SSCF (est. 2008), he has built a 500-bed, NABH-accredited comprehensive oncology centre, delivering advanced treatment through a cost-effective model that has benefitted over 90,000 patients, many through free or subsidized care.
