Dr Sudha Sah

Dr. Sudha Sah is a Dental Specialist in the Department of Head and Neck Oncology at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Bengaluru. With over two decades of clinical experience, she is deeply committed to dental oncology and the oral care of cancer patients, focusing on improving quality of life during and after treatment.

She completed her BDS from Government Dental College, Raipur, and pursued advanced training in Aesthetic Dentistry at the University of Medicine, Greifswald, Germany. Her academic background includes certifications in implantology, tobacco cessation, dental emergencies, and oral lesion management. She has also completed observerships in Head and Neck Surgery and Prosthodontics at AIMS, Kochi.

Her expertise spans dental care for patients undergoing cancer therapies, early detection and management of premalignant lesions, osteonecrosis, and osteoradionecrosis. She is a mentor under MASCC and an active contributor to national and international implantology and dental oncology forums. Her published research includes studies on bisphosphonate-induced osteonecrosis and oral evaluation in BMT patients.

She is a member of the Indian Dental Association (IDA), MASCC, and its Oral Care, Mucositis, and Palliative Care study groups. She is committed to pioneering integrated oral care for head and neck cancer patients through research and innovation. Her future goal is to deliver the best oral and maxillofacial prosthetic solutions for those battling cancer.
