Dr Moupia Goswami

Dr. Moupia Goswami is a Visiting Ophthalmologist and Oculoplasty Surgeon in the Department of Ophthalmic Oncology (Eye Cancer) at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in the treatment and reconstruction of eyelid, orbital, and lacrimal gland tumors, as well as ophthalmic brachytherapy.

A gold-medalist and scholarship awardee from the Government of India in 1993, she completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Raipur, in 2001. She went on to earn a DNB in Ophthalmology in 2006 and completed a long-term fellowship in Orbit and Oculoplasty from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, in 2009. Since then, she has dedicated her career to the subspecialty of ophthalmic oncology. She is an active member of several professional organizations including the International Society of Ocular Oncology (ISOO), the Oculoplastic Association of India (OPAI), and the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS).
