Dr. Janaki Padmakumar

Dr. Janaki Padmakumar is a Consultant in Anaesthesiology and Critical Care at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, with 6 years of clinical experience. She completed her M.D. and D.N.B. in Anaesthesiology and Critical Care from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, following her M.B.B.S. from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Her key areas of expertise include perioperative care, perioperative inflammation, regional anesthesia, Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols, and onco-anesthesia.

She is an active member of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA) and the Society of Onco-Anaesthesia and Perioperative Care (SOAPC). She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and presented award-winning research at national conferences. Passionate about optimizing surgical outcomes through evidence-based anesthesia practices, her work focuses on safety, innovation, and patient-centric care.
