Dr Divya Vishwanatha Kini

Dr. Divya Vishwanatha Kini is a Consultant Radiologist at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Bengaluru, with a specialised focus on breast and women's imaging. She completed her MBBS from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru, followed by an MD in Radiodiagnosis and Senior Residency at JSS Medical College, Mysuru, where she gained comprehensive training across all major radiological modalities.

She then earned her DNB in Radiodiagnosis and further pursued her interest in women's health - she completed a Fellowship in Breast Imaging and Interventions (FNB) along with a training in Gynaecological imaging at Kovai Medical Centre and Hospital (KMCH), Coimbatore. Her expertise includes digital mammography, tomosynthesis, contrast enhanced mammography (CEM), breast MRI, ultrasound, and image-guided procedures such as biopsies, FNACs, and localisation techniques. She has a keen interest in gynaecological imaging, particularly pelvic ultrasound and MRI.

She is a member of several national professional societies including international bodies and is actively involved in academic research with multiple publications to her name. She participates in national and international conferences where she has also received awards for her scientific presentations.

Known for her detail-oriented, empathetic approach, she values collaborative care and patient education. Her vision is to promote early, precise diagnosis and to help build accessible, patient-centred imaging services tailored for women.
