Dr. Aruna Korlimarla, PhD, is the Principal Scientist and Head of the Department of Molecular Oncology at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, with over 15 years of experience in translational cancer research. A pioneer in applying spatial transcriptomics for breast cancer in India, she specializes in precision oncology, molecular diagnostics, and multi-omics cancer research. Her expertise spans advanced platforms including next-generation sequencing, NanoString, qRT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, and bioinformatics-driven multi-omics data integration. Dr. Korlimarla has contributed extensively to biomarker discovery, companion diagnostics development, and clinical implementation of molecular tools to improve patient outcomes.
